market Security Transit Recycling & Waste Bins. These unique bins were designed for security, waste hauling ease and low maintenance care.

The main selling feature is the compression band which ensures that garbage and recycling bags do not fall out. In comparison to the alternative clear poly carbonate bin, there is very little surface area to clean.

During the last 18 months, the Security Transit Recycling Bins have been successfully used with the City of Toronto Transit Authority. The initial order was for 500 units. Their program is now being expanded.

Recycle Media solves sticky problem of chewing gum litter with 5 year US deal worth $26.6 million

UK based Gummy Bins Ltd, providers of the world’s only chewing gum disposal and recycling system, has appointed California-based Recycle Media Corp. as its first international distributor in a five year deal estimated to be worth $26.6 million.

The agreement is Gummy Bins’ first international distributorship award, giving Recycle Media Corp. exclusive rights to sell the entire Gummy Bins’ product range in North America.

Nigel Bill, Head of Sales at Gummy Bins explains the significance of the deal: “Our chewing gum disposal and recycling system has had impressive results in the UK in 2006, showing an average reduction of 75% or more in chewing gum deposits in the vicinity of the ‘gummy bins’. more details
